Keith Mann Aims To Create Tomorrow’s Top Professionals With A New Scholarship

Dynamics Search Partner founder Keith Mann is known for his philanthropy around New York City, and especially for his work with the arts and education. Along with his wife, he is proud to announce a new scholarship created to inspire the growth of tomorrow’s top businessman or woman.

The scholarship is titled the Keith and Keely Mann Scholarship for Professional Achievement and will be awarded to a graduating senior from Brooklyn’s charter school Uncommon Schools. Mann stated that he is hopeful the scholarship will make it possible for a student to graduate and then go on to a four year degree.

Joe Frick, college counselor at Uncommon Charter High School, added that this will help out one of their students fulfil their dream of a college education and that the schools are very appreciative of the Manns for creating the scholarship opportunity for their students.

As mentioned, Keith Mann has been a long term supporter of education and has worked with Uncommon Schools in the past. He spent 15 years working in the executive search industry and specializes in hiring strategy. He realized in 2002 that there was a void in the market for hiring new talent within the hedge fund industry. Therefore, he moved his practice into the private equity industry and then created executive search firm Dynamics Search Partners seven years later in 2009. Keith serves as the CEO of the company and works with clients all over the globe.

He wants to encourage low income students to finish their education and to complete college. He added it’s not enough to start college, but they have to work towards the final goal so that they are able to get into the professional world and become the big businessmen of tomorrow. Keith Mann believes that this scholarship will help them do it.

The scholarship is a $5,000 award that can be placed towards college tuition. Applications need to submit a 1,000 word essay detailing how they plan to utilize a college degree to become a professional. The winner of the scholarship will be announced towards the close of March.
