Christanna Bevin is a highly motivated Australia woman who has worked on the leading construction projects in Australia, Laos, and Bulgaria. In her role as a Project Services Manager, she has demonstrated an excellent ability to oversee a massive construction project from its beginning to a satisfactory conclusion. She has shown outstanding knowledge and experience in the management skills needed to complete a project. Her field of expertise includes project controls, contract, procurement, and administration management in the construction and resource sectors.
Christanna, highly respected for her outstanding work ethic, her problem-solving skills and her ability to communicate with the stakeholder through both written and oral communication. With a passion for going the extra mile for her clients, she is energetic, very results oriented and her flexibility makes her a natural work companion. Christanna is currently with Consulting Services, located in Brisbane, Australia. Previously she served as Phu Bia Mining, Universal Energy Services, and Oakajee Port and Rail.
From May 2014 – August 2015, almost a year and a half, she worked for Phu Bia Mining. Among her many accomplishments at Phu Bia Mining was the training of local staff in systems and processes and introducing new software dedicated to cost control. As the head of the pre-qualification team Christanna played a key role in the selection of sub-contractors from China, Vietnam, and Thailand for several projects delivered by the Capital Projects Team at Phu Bia and PanAust/Frieda River. She managed all project services, including cost and schedule, document control, estimating, and management and executive support. Christanna established a good working relationship with stakeholders, including executive and senior management partners.
Bevin was the senior project manager for Oakajee Port and Rail from January 2010 – May 2011. While working with Oakajee Port and Rail Christanna introduced competitive cost and schedule controls that were related to the reporting process, oversaw the budget development for feasibility studies, including cost projections. Contractors and engineers were advised to make sure controls were in place and adhered to by everyone. During her tenure, she trained and supervised a team of three that would be responsible for a staff of up to eleven.
For over three years Christannna Bevin served as the project manager for Universal Energy Services. While there she provided consulting and on-site services to several clients involved in the oil and gas sectors. She managed feasibility study’s, oversaw the construction and commissioning for power stations and reviewed and updated various reporting systems critical to the success of the project. Bevin and her team of twenty managed scheduling, contracts, procurement, cost control and provided support to the management team.
Christanna joined Consulting Services in 2015 and remains there today. She continues to work on projects that require her outstanding project management skills. Currently providing her expertise to various clients in Australia she collaborates on a major overhaul of the Kogan Creek Power Station, coal projects in Queensland and a major hospital redevelopment project. Bevin is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Business and lives in Brisbane, Australia.
