Greg Blatt is a top executive in the American technological industry. He has served many significant roles in various institutions. He was born in Boston and attended college at Colgate University, where he got his bachelor’s degree, and Columbia Law School, where he came out with a J.D.

He began his career at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, the most significant mergers and acquisitions establishment in New York during the 90s. While here, Greg Blatt spent most of his time in the office learning about work ethics, teamwork, and perfectionism. He later decided to venture into entertainment law, transforming from corporate law. Greg landed a new consultant job at Grubman Indursky Schindler PC with the notion that he would transfer his career to entertainment. Blatt worked for this firm with a specific clientele, Martha Stewart. She was working to buy rights to her merchandise.

Martha later founded Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to duty as the main company for the brands she possessed. In 1999, Stewart decided to publicize her company, and given her previous relationship with Blatt, she hired him. It was 18 months since Blatt’s departure from the law school, and within six months, Martha Stewart Omnimedia was listed on the New York Stock Exchange at $18 per share.

In 2004, Greg Blatt moved to InterActivCorp (IAC), a much more substantial company. He worked here for 5 years as the general counsel. This company had many subsidiaries and was focused on internet business models. These subsidiaries include; Expedia, Home Shopping Network, Ticketmaster, Match.com, and Hotels.com. In 2009, Greg Blatt began his CEO role at IAC and its subsidiaries. He was the President of Match.com for two years. In 2014, a newly formed institution, Match Group, which from then housed Match.com, was established, with Greg Blatt as the chairman.
