Trevor Edwards was born in London on 28th November 1962. He was raised in a loving home in Norbury by his parents, together with his siblings. Growing up, he tended to their garden, where they grew apples and vegetables. Although he was of colour and most people living around were Whites, he felt at home and could express himself freely without fear of being judged. His father worked as an accountant, and his mother was a nurse. They later relocated to Jamaica and didn’t appreciate the move at first. The culture shock took a toll on him when they moved to an entirely different area was projected onto him, and he felt troubled. With the help of his parents and upbringing, Trevor Edwards overcame it and started appreciating it.
He accepted the nature of life that we cannot all be the same and learned to respect everyone, even those that did not look or speak like him. Trevor Edwards also exploited his talents in sports and excelled well in academics. He joined Baruch College in New York, where he studied business and later proceeded to do his masters. Trevor Edwards has worked with various organizations, including Colgate and A athletic brand. Throughout his career life, he has helped organizations grow and achieve their goals. His upbringing nurtured him to be an influential and charismatic leader who can work well with others and drive change. He is also ambitious, and this has helped him achieve his successes. Trevor Edwards attributes his achievements to discipline, determination, and following on your dreams.
