Prior to joining The North Face, Steve Lesnard was the global VP of the running division of an athletic apparel brand.
Leveraging his industry knowledge, he oversaw the production of several innovative products that would see the company raise its worth by a whopping $5.3billion.
In his current position as the global VP of Production at the North Face, Steve Lesnard has demonstrated continued commitment, dedication and focus to see the company achieve an even greater level of success. He hopes to accomplish this through some of the campaigns he has worked on and those in progress.
With the effects of the recent pandemic still raging, The North Face has been working on ways to bring a new normal to the outdoor experience. These efforts can be seen in the company’s move to partner with other industry players such as Lena Waithe.
They aim to help people reset their lives by exploring nature. This way, they can focus on their personal growth, progress and even impart them with hope to face everyday challenges.
Steve Lesnard and Lena Waithe have been working on the global initiative dubbed ‘Reset Normal’ with athlete Jimmy Chin. In support of the initiative, The North Face has donated over $7million. These funds are meant to be used to develop scalable solutions that facilitate outdoor exploration and help address issues of inequity experienced outdoors.
One of the main goals behind this initiative is to make the outdoors easily accessible to people from different ethnic groups and races. To ensure the initiative’s success, Lesnard has rallied like-minded individuals in forming the Global Fund Council. The council is mainly focused on bringing together academic experts, entertainment and culture to outdoor enthusiasts.
