Vijay Eswran, an executive chairman of QI Group ad a partner of the World Economic Forum, did attend the online Davos Agenda 2021 recently.
Eswaran was a panelist at this year’s panelist. The panel was titled Transforming Supply Chains in Asia-Pacific.
In the past, his company, QI Group, has participated in the international conversation and helps to find solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.
Before the pandemic, ASEAN was going to be the fourth biggest economy in the world. ASEAN hopes to have a stronger future after the pandemic and some of its priorities are sustainability, online transformation, and cooperation between the ASEAN countries. ASEAN is an economic alliance of 10 Asian countries in the Southeast Asian area. Some member countries are Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Laos. A person should think about it as an Asian version of the European Union.
Vijay Eswaran thinks that cross-border and e-commerce business in the Asian region should become more efficient and fast by making partnerships between private and public sectors that are beneficial to both.
This Davos panel was led by Michael Want, an anchor for Global Business, a show that appears on the China Global Television Network (CGTN).
Vijay Eswaran has not just been a chairman of the QI group. He has been an economist (by training), philanthropist, and motivational speaker. He has found to write books like In the Sphere of Silence, a book that is considered a best-seller.
Vijay Eswaran believes that the pandemic has been good for the environment. The planet is showing some signs that it is healing. The lockdowns around the world have reduced pollution. The rivers are clear for the first time in a long, long time. There are more skies instead of grey fog. He thinks that the world should try to maintain these changes.
Eswaran is a person who has much to say about what is happening in the world.
