Before joining the University of South Carolina School of Law, he had completed his bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida State University. After graduating in 1999, He joined a prestigious law firm in the U.S. However, he felt inadequate since he could not fully solve people’s problems. Many of his clients could always wish that their predicament could not befall anyone else. Thus, they could want to voice their concerns and were not ready for vengeance.
Trey Branham is the first Branham to graduate from university. He boasts how his stepfather encouraged him to be determined and work hard at all times to avoid regret. Besides, his family is central to his success. The family instilled in him the virtues of commitment, hard work, and sacrifice. His mother taught him the essence of ethics; thus, he incorporates them into his practice. Consequently, he regrets seeing some of his clients obsessed with their company’s profits at the expense of their families’ welfare and safety of the general population.
Trey Branham has made various presentations, reported decisions, and done some publications. For instance, he published “It Couldn’t Happen Here: The English Rule–But Not in South Carolina.” Consequently, he has various honors, including the Texas Super Lawyers Honoree and Texas Rising Stars Honoree. Besides, he has had many admissions including, the U.S. District Court of Texas, U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. Court of Appeals.
The basis of Trey Branham’s professional career is to give his clients a voice and make sure the relevant party hears the voice. Consequently, he creates a better world for his family, especially his son. Besides, he has a dream of a better and fair justice system.
