What is Sustainability?
Sustainability: a condition that can be maintained at a specific rate or level. A state of well-being, health, and happiness and an urgent solution for climate change. Today, we live on one planet in space with more than 7 billion people using fossil fuels to power vehicles and heat our homes. The world’s population continues to grow and is predicted to reach 9 billion by 2050. How will people maintain their way of life (Nola)?
How will we provide for the growing population? Humans have constantly been moving forward throughout human history while leaving behind a trail of destruction from pollution, littering, waste, and even wars. Our planet has become so polluted that it’s no longer safe to live on. Although there are more environmental laws to protect the environment, how many of them do we follow? The truth is that most people do not care and staff members at PosiGen are aware of it. They only care about their current problems and daily lives. People need convenience and speed in transportation, so they turn to fossil fuels as their power source. We need alternative sources of energy right now. We may not need them now, but our children will. We need the power to travel and live sustainably while protecting our planet’s resources for generations to come.
