With the growing demand for Impossible Burgers everywhere, Impossible Foods has partnered with OSI Group to help increase the production of the much sought after meatless products. OSI Group based outside of Chicago, has previously partnered with numerous restaurants, like McDonald’s, to supply and distribute food items to restaurants around the globe.
More and more, diners are looking for healthier options and plant-based meat alternatives are showing up on menus in restaurants all over. Demand for vegan and vegetarian meal options have surged and the Impossible Groups’ offerings are in particularly high demand since the release of their 2.0 version of the Impossible Burger in January 2019. The new partnership with OSI Group allows the Impossible Group to increase the availability of their offerings and substantially grow the number of locations these menu items can be found in and more
To keep the Impossible Group’s meatless burgers’ recipe a secret, OSI Group will be producing these products in a separate location from other products. These products will be distributed to restaurants across the country, including to over 7,000 Burger King locations for their Impossible Whopper menu item.
While their headquarters are outside of Chicago, OSI Group has 65 locations in 17 countries around the globe making them a perfect for food producers looking to increase their output and meet high demand, or to facilitate distribution needs.
This new inclusion of plant-based protein does not mark a shift in OSI Group’s commitment to producing and providing food products of all types. They remain committed to supporting sustainable farming and agriculture around the world and helping fill in supply chains wherever and whenever their expertise is needed. In addition to a growing number of restaurants and grocery stores, you can find the Impossible Burger today by ordering the Impossible Whopper at Burger King locations across the country.
