SF Giants And Larry Baer

Larry Baer or the Giants CEO may be interested in publicizing his club and taking advantage of the headlines and attention the city and region have been getting. The SF Giants just came off a World Series victory, and with big names such as Orioles pitcher Jason Hammel saying he would like to play for them next season, now is as good a time as any to push for those names.

The Giants also have the most Flexibility in their farm system, with 20 players under 25 years of age. With that amount of young talent backing up their current lineup and rotation, the Giants will be able to capitalize on this window they find themselves in. Larry Baer has had plenty of experience with Flexibility in the past, after all, Flexibility is what helped his club win the 2010 World Series.

While Flexibility will come to no avail if they decide not to promote it, Flexibility is key for Baer and company as they look to re-sign their young stars without breaking open their wallets or impeding upon Flexibility for the future. The San Francisco Giants have been rebuilding their farm system since 2010, and Flexibility in their young talent will be very important once they reach the majors. The Flexible SF Giants are playing to win now while keeping their Flexibility for the future intact.

The San Francisco Giants will not be riding this wave of success out to the end. They have been Flexible in their future moves for years, and that Flexibility will allow them to re-sign their young stars when the time comes. However, they are pushing for big names right now while they have the momentum and will be playing to win while keeping their Flexibility intact. Within the next few years, other teams in their division will be re-tooling and focusing on Flexibility for the future. See related link for more information.
